Karachi Stock Exchange ends flat to close lower at 22,214 points
KARACHI: The Karachi Stock Exchange (KSE) closed lower on Thursday, Zee Info News reported

By the time of the closing bell the benchmark 100-Index lost 0.10 percent or 21.60 points to close lower at 22,214.73.

Dealers said the dividend Pakistan State Oil Company Ltd’s (PSO) announced was way below market consensus, which poured cold water on the sentiment at the apex bourse.

In addition to that the speculations that the cement cartel may fall apart kept the trading on a tight lease as investors preferred to wait and watch sitting on the sidelines.

Even the world equity markets somewhat recovered after a little letup in Syrian crisis, but caution rules supreme in the local bourse.
DG Khan Cement Co Ltd fell 4.11 percent to Rs77.65, while Pakistan State Oil Co Ltd 3.53 percent to settle lower at Rs300.89.
