ISLAMABAD: Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) Fakhruddin G Ibrahim has welcomed Supreme Court verdict on Tahirul Qadri’s petition, Geo News reported.
Reacting on SC verdict, CEC Fakhruddin said formation of election commission was as per the constitution of Pakistan, adding such kind of verdict was expected on Tahirul Qadri’s petition.
Supreme Court and ECP both want elections on time, he asserted.
