Oil prices up in Asian trade
SINGAPORE: Oil prices edged higher in Asian trade Wednesday as investors anticipate a fall in US crude inventories for the third consecutive week, indicating upbeat demand in the world´s top consumer.
New York´s main contract, West Texas Intermediate for January delivery, was up 19 cents at $97.41 in mid-morning trade while Brent North Sea crude for February gained 12 cents to $108.56.
