KSE ends higher after Pakistan secures GSP Plus status
KARACHI: Pakistan´s main stock exchange closed higher on Friday.
The benchmark 100-share index of the Karachi Stock Exchange rising 0.74 percent, or 184.69points, to 25,256.69.
The rise was mainly due to Pakistan securing the long awaited duty-free access to European markets, dealers said.
Engro Corporation Ltd rose 2.49 percent to 165.99 rupees while Engro Foods Ltd was up 5.00 percent at 105.47 rupees. (Reuters)
