Govt to restore its writ in Karachi by all means: Memon
KARACHI: Sindh Information Minister, Sharjeel Inam Memon has said the provincial government would restore its writ in Karachi by all means.
In a statement issued here on Saturday, the information minister said the targeted operation would not stop over the objections raised from any side.
Paying tribute to the Rangers and the police, Memon said the targeted operations are running successfully.
More than 10,000 criminals have been arrested so far in the metropolis, he said, adding that the terrorists are on the run as a result of “successful operation.”
The minister further said that terrorism in Karachi is an old phenomenon, which he said, came in to place during General Zia ul Haq’s regime.
The metropolitan city would be made a peaceful place for living at all cost, Memon added.
