MQM denies reports of Mustafa Kamal resignation
LONDON: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) has denied the news report regarding former Karachi mayor Mustafa Kamal’s resignation from the seat of senate.
According to the MQM spokesman, the Mustafa Kamal is still a member of the senate, adding that there were no differences between the party leadership and the former mayor.
Earlier, sources said that MQM had directed Kamal to submit his resignation as senator to the party leadership.
The resignation was sought due to differences between the party leadership and Mustafa Kamal, the sources added.
