According to Geo News, the FIR was lodged against the lawmaker on behalf of the father of Baloch, who told police that assailant riding bikes shot dead his son. He said that he could identify the attackers.
Zafar Baloch, a former PPP office bearer from Lyari, was shot dead along with an associate in Binzeno Lane area of the neighborhood.
Baloch had left the PPP after developing differences with party and joined the PAC.
