Sources in the ministry of finance told Zee Info News that it was the first installment issued for BISP in the current fiscal year.
The sources added that there were some legal complications in the issuance of funds for BISP from July 01, however, these have been removed.
It may be noted here that BISP is part of government’s income support programme. Around Rs75 billion had been allocated for income support programme in the current fiscal year.
