Petrol price increased by Rs4.64 to Rs109.14/litre
ISLAMABAD: The prices of petroleum products have been increased by up to Rs10 effective from September 1, 2013 (12:00 AM), Media reported.
The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has issued a notification to this effect.
According to notification, the ex-depot price of petrol has jumped by Rs4.64 to Rs109.14 from a previous Rs104.5 per litre.
The diesel has also gone pricier by Rs2.50 to reach Rs112.26 a litre.
The price of light diesel oil (LDO) has also risen by Rs2.31 to Rs98.43 per litre while High-Octane Blending Component (HOBC) after a raise of Rs5.89 will now be sold at Rs138.33 per litre.
Ogra has also revised the price of kerosene oil by Rs4.71 bringing it up at Rs105.99 from a previous Rs101.28 per litre.
On the other hand the price of JP-1, the jet fuel, saw the largest increase of Rs10, which kicked its rate up to Rs99.88 per litre.
