The Maroons skipper HDRL Thirimanne said after the toss “the wicket looked good so we want to bowl first. Our boys have been practicing hard and we need a bit of luck and want to win today.”
Wolves captain Misbah ul Haq in the post toss interview said that it was his teams inexperience that led to the disappointing performance of the team. The team needs to perform well in all departments throughout the match which they have failed to do so far and will try to rectify it today.
Both the teams are already out of the tournament and are looking for a consolation win.
