GUJRANWALA: At least two people were killed and several others injured when four bogies of a train derailed here on Thursday, Zee Info News reported.
The train was travelling to Rawalpindi from Lahore when the accident occurred. According to reports, several people standing along the rail track were trapped as the bogies ran off their track.
Two bodies were recovered while efforts were underway to retrieve others. According to reports most of victims were fruit vendors .
Six people were shifted to District Headquarters Hospital in a critical condition.
