PORT-OF-SPAIN: Sri Lanka defeated the West Indies by 39 runs on the Duckworth/Lewis Method on Monday in the rain-affected fifth one-day international in the Celkon Mobile Cup tri-nation series at Queen's Park Oval:

West Indies 190-9 off 41 overs (Darren Bravo 70, Lendl Simmons 67, Chris Gayle 14, Johnson Charles 14; Angelo Mathews 4-29, Shaminda Eranga 3-45, Lasith Malinga 2-42).
NB: West Indies needed 230 to win on the Duckworth Lewis Method (Sri Lanka's innings was interrupted twice by rain: at 60-3 after 19 overs when match was reduced to 45 overs per side and then at 122-4 off 32 overs when match was further reduced to 41 overs).
