Petroleum ministry increases POL prices
ISLAMABAD: The Petroleum Ministry has approved an increase in the price of petroleum products following a one percent increase in the sales tax from 16 to 17 percent.
The price of petrol has been raised to Rs100.63 from an earlier price of Rs99.77. The price of diesel has been increased by 90 paisas to Rs105.50.
Meanwhile, the price of light diesel was raised by 77 paisas to Rs89.90 while Kerosene oil was raised to Rs94.59.
The price of petroleum products have been increased after GST was raised by 1 percent in the budget.
