Karachi Stock Exchange post-budget rally fizzles out in losses
KARACHI: The Karachi Stock Exchange's closed lower on Friday, the rollover day, Media reported.
The benchmark 100-Index lost 0.95 percent, 216.08 points, to close lower at 22,541.64.
The major losers were Pakistan State Oil Co Ltd, which shed 1.44 percent to come down at Rs325.65, while Oil and Gas Development Co Ltd fell by 1.5 percent at Rs251.
The rupee ended almost steady at 98.51/98.56 against
the dollar, compared to Thursday's close of 98.50/98.55.
