Ending drone strikes goverment's priority: FO
ISLAMABAD: Foreign Office Spokesman Aizaz Chaudhry on Thursday said that secret funds of the foreign ministry have been abolished on the directives of the federal government.
Speaking at a press briefing, the spokesman said that ending drone strike was among the government’s top priorities. He said that US Secretary of State John Kerry would visit Pakistan in the last week of this month.
Replying a query about violation of Pakistan’s airspace by Indian warplanes, he said that the two aircraft entered Pakistan’s airspace due to a technical mistake as both the pilots of Indian warplanes were under training.
To a question, he said that Pakistan’s embassy in Syria, was still open.
