Balochistan CM: Nomination papers to be filed today
QUETTA: The nomination papers for the election of Balochistan chief minister would be submitted here on Saturday (today).
Balochistan chief minister would be elected on June 9 at 11:00 am if more than one candidate files nomination paper for the slot. According to the Assembly Secretariat the nomination papers would be received from 10:00 am till 2:00 pm.
The oath taking ceremony of new chief minister would held at the Governor’s House on June 9 at 6:00 pm.
The National Party, the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz and Mehmood Khan Achakzai’s Pashtunkhwa Milli Awami Party have hammered out consensus on NP’s Dr Abdul Malik after several rounds of talk. Mian Nawaz Sharif nominated the Baloch national leader as candidate for the Balochistan chief minister.
