3 killed four injured in Karachi violence
KARACHI: At least three people were killed and four others injured in the ongoing wave of targeted killings in Karachi, Media reported Thursday.
Over 20 armed men on motorcycles resorted to indiscriminate firing near Tower bus stop, killing one and injuring two others.
The injured were identified as Imran and Mehmood while the identity of the deceased was yet to be ascertained. A rickshaw driver was also among the injured. The gunmen also targeted an ambulance parked along the road how driver remained unhurt.
In another incident of shooting, unknown armed men opened fire on a hotel in Bahadurabad area of the city, injuring four people. The injured were taken to a near by hospital where two of them identified as Abul Rehman, 50 and Sheikh Munir, 35 succumbed to their injuries.
According to preliminary reports, the deceased were the owners of a car showroom.
