PCB Bans Players Including Afridi to Play Foreign Cricket
LAHORE: Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has banned several players including Shahid Afridi and Umar Akmal to play foreign cricket, Media reported Thursday.
The PCB spokesman said the players cannot be allowed to play abroad in the private tournaments. However, defying the PCB ban, Shahid Afridi had earlier played Ajman cricket without attaining any NOC.
It should be mentioned here that cricketers including Shahid Afridi, Umar Akmal, Rana Naveedul Hasan, Hammad Azam and Haris Sohail are registered in Sharjah Sixes, which has set off from May 20 in Sharjah.
