There Shouldn't be Any no-go Area In Karachi: SC
ISLAMABAD: The Supreme Court of Pakistan resumed hearing the Karachi law and order case Tuesday where the Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry remarked that there should not be any no-go area in any area, Media reported.
A five-judge larger bench of the SC headed by Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry is hearing the Karachi law and order implementation case today. During today’s proceedings, police submitted a report related to the no-go areas in Karachi.
According to the statistics detailed in the report, there are total 106 police stations in the city out of which partial no-go areas exist in the premises of seven police stations.
On this, the CJ questioned if police is accepting the presence of no-go areas in the premises of seven police stations. He, then, inquired about the names of those seven police stations.
