Interim Prime Minister to Review Decision on HEC
ISLAMABAD: Chairman Higher Education Commission, Jawed Laghari, has requested the Caretaker Prime Minister to review his decision about giving the HEC under Ministry of Education, MEDIA reports.
The HEC Chairman has mailed a letter to the Interim Prime Minister, saying HEC performance is suffering very badly so the premiere should review the decision.
The HEC status should be restored at its previous condition, after taking back administrative control from the Ministry of Education, added the HEC Chairman in letter.
Chairman HEC added in the letter that this decision has halted direct issuance of funds from the Finance Ministry and it is also against verdicts of the Supreme Court and Sindh High Court.
