5 Activists of Banned Outfit Arrested in Karachi
KARACHI: The Rangers continued the spell of targeted operations in different areas of the metropolis, as 11 suspected people including five operatives of an outlawed organization have been arrested overnight from Super Highway area of the metropolis, Media reported Tuesday.
The paramilitary troops overnight put security cordon around a residential complex located on Super Highway on a secret tip-off regarding the presence of a terrorist commander hailing from a banned outfit. As many as 150 personnel searched the flats for one and half hours.
The commander could not be arrested in the action; however, the Rangers arrested 11 suspected people including five activists of a banned outfit. Weapons of different kinds were seized from the miscreants’ possession.
