LAHORE: CNG stations all across the province of Punjab including the capital city here closed down again on Saturday morning from 6.00 A.M., following one-day break on the eve of Eid Milad-un-Nabi, Geo news reported.
CNG supply was restored on 12th Rabi-ul-Awwal in Punjab and Khyber Pukhtunkhaw in accordance with the announcement of the ministry of petroleum from Friday 6.00 A.M. to Saturday (today) 6.00 A.M.
However despite government announcement, most of the filling stations remained closed and the few, which were opened, witnessed long queues of all sorts of vehicles waiting for their turn to get their empty cylinders filled.
Harried motorists said that they remained deprived of celebrating the Eid Milad-un-Nabi, as they spent the whole day standing in the queue at CNG stations.
