LAHORE: Chief Minister Punjab Mian Shahbaz Sharif, while critically commenting on the long march, said that it proved to be a deceitful march that ended in joining hands with the thieves, Geo News reported.
In a statement issued here, Punjab CM Shahbaz Sharif said two apparent rivals shook hands in the end. He said that change does not come through containers, but via the power of votes.
Shahbaz Sharif stated that the plan to derail democracy failed miserably at D-Chowk and those who rose “save the state” slogans could hardly manage to save their grace.
He further said that the country that has currently shrouded in darkness will rise again in the leadership of Nawaz Sharif.
